Farmers protest: Zelensky requests meeting with Polish government
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called on the Polish government to meet at the border due to protests by Polish farmers against grain imports from Ukraine.

Volodymyr Zelensky stated in a post on his social media account that "solidarity" is a word that has improved the history of all of Europe, but noted that they are currently witnessing an excessive and unfair politicization that could cause common achievements to begin to collapse.
"I REQUEST THAT YOU COME TO THE BORDER"
Stating that he has instructed the Ukrainian government to go to the Ukraine-Poland state border by February 24, Zelensky said, "Prime Minister Donald Tusk, I request that you come to the border. President Andrzej (Duda), I ask you to support this dialogue. This is a matter of national security. We must not delay this. The next few days give us the opportunity to do so."
Zelensky noted that he is also prepared to be at the border with his government, adding, "I want to address the European Commission: We must preserve unity in Europe. This is in the fundamental interest of the EU. Therefore, Ukraine is calling on the European Commission for a representative of the European Commission to participate in this meeting."
"WE NEED A SOLUTION"
At the end of his statement, President Zelensky used Polish to say, "Enough of Moscow on our lands. Enough of this misunderstanding. We should not humiliate each other, we should not humiliate either Ukrainian or Polish farmers. We need unity. We need a solution between Ukraine and Poland, and for all of Europe."
Polish farmers launched a national protest on February 20 against grain imports from Ukraine and blocked traffic at the Ukrainian border.
