A large fire broke out in a carpentry workshop located inside a military facility in Tehran, the capital of Iran.
It is alleged that the fire occurred due to an electrical fault in a 300-square-meter carpentry workshop situated within the military facility on Qoddusi Street.
Tehran Fire Department Spokesperson Jalal Maleki stated the following regarding the incident: "A fire broke out this evening around 19:00 in a carpentry workshop located on Qoddusi Street.
The fire occurred in the waste section of the workshop. There were no injuries in the incident.
The fire was brought under control in a short time thanks to the rapid intervention of the fire department teams," he said.
CLAIMS OF AN EXPLOSION SOUND
On the other hand, while flames and thick smoke were seen rising in the footage shared on social media, eyewitnesses claimed that a loud explosion sound was heard in the area before the fire.
