Fire breaks out at Mamusha Central Mosque in Kosovo

A fire has broken out at the Central Mosque in Mamusha, located in the south of Kosovo and the country's only Turkish municipality.

While bystanders noticed and extinguished the fire, which reportedly started in the minbar section, the mosque sustained significant damage.

Mamusha Mayor Abdülhadi Krasniç stated in a post on his social media account, "A fire broke out in our Mamusha Central Mosque for an unknown reason. Get well soon to our Mamusha. Hopefully, it will be restored to be even more beautiful than before as soon as possible. Get well soon to our Mamusha."
