Venezuelan lawmaker Nicolás Maduro Guerra shared the message sent by his father, Nicolás Maduro, who is being held in the US, through his lawyers. Guerra stated that his father is in good health.
"WE ARE WELL, STAY STRONG" MESSAGE
Addressing the leaders of the ruling United Socialist Party (PSUV), Maduro Guerra said that the lawyers conveyed to them that they "should be strong and not be sad." Emphasizing that his father's morale is high, Guerra stated that Maduro remains determined.
Maduro Guerra relayed his father's message with these words:
"We are well. I am a fighter."
"HE HAS NOT BROKEN, HE STANDS TALL"
Guerra emphasized that despite what has happened, Nicolás Maduro "has not broken" and said that the government and its supporters continue to act in unity. Stating that the fundamental strength of the Chavismo movement is solidarity, Guerra used the following expressions:
"The strength of Chavismo comes from unity. No matter what happens, we must stay together."
"WE WILL BRING MADURO AND HIS WIFE BACK"
Venezuela's interim president, Delcy Rodriguez, made important statements at an event she attended in Miranda state on Saturday. Rodriguez announced that they will work to bring Nicolás Maduro and his wife back to the country.
Arguing that there is no uncertainty regarding the administration in the country, Rodriguez expressed the following words:
"There is no uncertainty here. The administration is in the hands of the people, and there is a government led by President Nicolás Maduro."
