First statement from Lebanon following Israeli attack

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun made a statement regarding the airstrike carried out by Israel on southern Lebanon.

Aoun stated that Israel is targeting "civilian facilities" and noted that it has violated the ceasefire reached last year.

Aoun said, "Israel's repeated attacks are part of a systematic policy aimed at destroying infrastructure, preventing economic recovery, and undermining national stability under false security pretexts."

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that 6 people were injured in the attacks.
