US President Donald Trump had held a closed-door meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte at the White House. Sharing a post on his social media account following the meeting, Trump wrote, "NATO was not there for us when we needed them, and if we need them again, they won't be there. Remember Greenland, that big, poorly managed block of ice."
