Heavy rainfall that has been effective since yesterday in China's Chongqing city has led to floods and landslides. Streets and avenues turned into lakes, and houses were submerged. In some areas, the water level exceeded 2 meters. While approximately 7 thousand people were affected by the heavy rainfall, 170 people were evacuated from their homes. Authorities announced that 6 people lost their lives. The heavy rainfall also disrupted transportation, and numerous train services were suspended.
