Foreign Ministry condemns attack on Christmas market in Germany

The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned the attack on a Christmas market in the German city of Magdeburg.

Two people lost their lives and more than 60 were injured in the incident.

The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the attack and sent a message of support to Germany.

The attacker caused a major tragedy by driving his vehicle into the crowd at the Christmas market. While it was stated that the attack was intentional, it was learned that the attacker was a Saudi Arabia-born doctor named Talib A.

In its statement regarding the attack, the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, "We are deeply saddened by this incident, which was a deliberate attack."

Furthermore, the ministry issued a call, stating, "We hope that the cause of this attack, which we strongly condemn, will be clarified as soon as possible and that the potential perpetrators will be held accountable before the law."
