In the Ministry's statement, it was expressed that this step, taken following the organization of the National Dialogue Conference and the announcement of the Constitutional Declaration, demonstrates the Syrian administration's determination to advance the political transition process.
The Ministry's statement emphasized that support for the Shara administration will continue, and the following expressions were used:
'Turkey will continue to support the comprehensive and inclusive political process, which is one of the cornerstones of establishing security and stability in Syria.
During this critical period, it is important for the international community to also focus its efforts on the stabilization of Syria; in this context, it is primarily important that sanctions be lifted unconditionally and that reconstruction activities begin in Syria.'
