Footage of Cesar Maia, who was elected mayor of the famous Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro for three terms, participating in a meeting from the toilet has surfaced on social media.

In the footage, it is noted that 78-year-old Maia tried to adjust the camera angle to recover from the situation.

The famous politician was seen sitting on the toilet with his pants pulled down to his ankles during the meeting held via Zoom.

EVERYONE NOTICED

Maia, who later realized the situation, quickly grabbed the device and tilted the camera up. However, the politician was not fast enough to prevent other participants from noticing the situation.

The clip later shows session leader Pablo Mello, who could not help but laugh when he realized what was happening. Mello struggled to continue the meeting, looking away from the screen to keep his laughter under control.

'I REQUEST THAT YOU TURN OFF THE CAMERA'

In order to continue the meeting smoothly, Mello said, "Councilman Cesar Maia, I request that you turn off the camera, please." Maia responded to this request by saying, "Of course," and immediately turned off his camera. According to reports in the local press, the meeting continued without Maia after he turned off his camera.
