French Foreign Minister reiterates support for Ukraine
French Foreign Minister Stephane Sejourne stated that they will stand shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine for as long as necessary and that this stance will not change.

Making his first foreign visit to the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, Minister Sejourne met with his Ukrainian counterpart, Dmytro Kuleba.
The parties held a joint press conference following the meeting.
"WE ARE READY TO SUPPORT UKRAINE" MESSAGE
Minister Sejourne stated that despite the increase in crises worldwide, Ukraine is and will continue to be one of France's priorities, noting, "This is one of the key messages we are sending you. Today, Ukraine is defending the fundamental values and principles of international law, as well as the security values of Europe and the French people."
Pointing out that they are determined to strengthen Ukraine's capability to produce weapons systems on its own territory, Sejourne said they are ready to assist Ukraine in this regard.
Sejourne also added, "We see that Russia is striking civilian infrastructure and homes in violation of all provisions of international law. Russia is solely responsible for this escalation, which we strongly condemn. Recalling the fundamental principles of the UN Charter, I would like to assure you that France will stand shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine for as long as necessary. This stance of ours will not change."
UAVS AND MISSILES DISCUSSED
Minister Kuleba thanked Sejourne for the comprehensive support provided to Ukraine, particularly in strengthening air defense, and noted that they discussed the supply of unmanned aerial vehicles, missiles, and other issues during the meeting.
Pointing out that they coordinated steps for the NATO Washington summit during the meeting, Kuleba stated that they discussed the timeline for taking concrete steps toward Ukraine's European Union (EU) membership.
Kuleba said, "This timeline is very clear. We need to decide on the approval of the negotiation framework and the date of the intergovernmental conference, and we need to hold the first intergovernmental conference. This issue is in complete alignment with my French colleague, and we agreed that France will support not only EU integration but also adherence to specific dates along this path."
