It has been revealed that Nicolas Maduro, who appeared before a judge in the US for the first time, will be held in a windowless cell known for its poor conditions until his second hearing on March 17.

Following the military operation the US conducted against Venezuela last Saturday, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores, who were abducted to New York, appeared before a judge for the first time as part of a case opened on charges of drug trafficking and possession of weapons.
US District Judge Alvin Hellerstein, who is presiding over the case, noted during the hearing that Maduro was brought into the courtroom with his feet shackled.
The judge announced that the next hearing will be held on March 17.

Speaking in court for the first time following the process that dominated the world agenda with a live-broadcast operation, Maduro denied all charges against him. In his defense, he stated, “America abducted me from my home, I am innocent.”
CONDITIONS OF THE PRISON WHERE MADURO WILL BE HELD
The cell where Maduro will stay after being sent back to prison following the hearing has been revealed to the public. In the images shared on tv100, it was noted that the cell is windowless and hygiene conditions are inadequate.
While it was reported that this center, where those held in pre-trial detention stay, is known for its bad reputation, it was stated that Maduro will be held here until the second hearing.
