What are the executive orders Trump has enacted? He signed more than 1,500 on his first day

Newly inaugurated 47th U.S. President Donald Trump signed around 1,500 executive orders on his first day in the Oval Office. Among the signed orders are numerous decisions described by the international press as 'radical,' such as declaring a state of emergency in regions along the Mexican border, the deportation of up to 88,000 illegal immigrants in a short period, and the U.S. withdrawal from the World Health Organization.

The primary executive orders Trump signed on his first day are as follows:

1- The definition of 'transgender individual' that was introduced into U.S. military regulations during the term of former U.S. President Joe Biden has been removed.

Trump and billionaire businessman Elon Musk, who is expected to head the newly formed DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency), had shared messages on their social media accounts throughout last week stating that ''God created only two genders.''

2- A state of emergency has been declared in U.S. regions along the Mexican border. The purpose of the decision is to prevent illegal immigration.

With the state of emergency decision, it is expected that patrols in the border region will be increased and 'extreme' measures will be taken against people attempting to enter the U.S. illegally.

3- He pardoned approximately 1,500 of his supporters who were involved in the events that went down in history as the 'January 6 Capitol Riot' four years ago and attacked the U.S. Capitol Building.

4- Trump ordered the early release of 14 people who led the far-right 'militant' groups Oath Keepers and Proud Boys, who had been sentenced to long-term prison sentences.

5- It was stated that the flights of approximately 1,660 Afghans, whom the U.S. government had permitted to settle in the U.S. and who include family members of active-duty U.S. military personnel, have been canceled in accordance with Trump's order to suspend U.S. refugee programs.

6- The U.S. President signed an order that will end the policy of granting citizenship to every child born in the United States.

7- Regulations concerning the oversight of artificial intelligence and electric vehicle technologies that were enacted during the Biden era have been canceled.

8- More than a dozen senior diplomats at the State Department were asked to resign.

9- The U.S. has withdrawn from the World Health Organization.

10- The U.S. has withdrawn from the Paris Climate Agreement.

11- Drug cartels have been classified as 'terrorist organizations.'

According to U.S. law, the President, provided they receive the support of Congress and the Senate, can decide to conduct military intervention in 'regions where terrorist organizations that harm the U.S. operate.'

12- The U.S. refugee program has been suspended. The applications and websites used by people participating in the program to track appointments and legal processes have been taken offline.
