Gaza government: 18,000 tons of bombs dropped on Gaza, one and a half times that dropped on Hiroshima

Salameh Marouf, Head of the Media Office of the government in Gaza, provided information regarding the destruction caused by Israeli attacks in Gaza during a press conference.

Stating that occupation forces have razed 85 government buildings in Gaza to the ground, Marouf said the following:

"Israel has destroyed 47 mosques in Gaza and caused major damage to 3 churches. As a result of the attacks, more than 200,000 buildings have been damaged, 32,500 of which have been completely destroyed and rendered uninhabitable, while 203 schools have sustained major damage and 45 schools have been completely put out of service. Due to the intense attacks, statistics are not yet complete.

18,000 tons of bombs have been dropped on Gaza, which is one and a half times that dropped on Hiroshima. The Israeli army has committed massacres against 908 families, causing the deaths of thousands of people. In the attacks, 35 journalists, 124 health workers, and 18 civil defense personnel from emergency rescue teams have lost their lives."
