'Israeli army threw 500 patients from Al-Shifa Hospital onto the street'
The government in Gaza stated that Israel has abandoned 500 patients at Al-Shifa Hospital, located in the west of the city, to their fate by forcing them onto the street.

Following the evacuation of Al-Shifa Hospital after the one-hour deadline given by the Israeli army for patients, the wounded, displaced persons, and medical staff to leave expired, the Media Office of the government in Gaza issued a statement regarding the matter.
''MEDICAL CARE IS NEEDED''
The statement said, "More than 500 patients and wounded, exhausted from hunger, thirst, and pain, were forced by the Israeli army to leave Al-Shifa Hospital and were abandoned to their fate on the street. Since most of them are in serious condition, they require high-level medical care."
'FUEL NEED' EMPHASIZED
The statement emphasized that Israel is fully responsible for the safety and lives of everyone at Al-Shifa Hospital, including patients, the wounded, premature babies, and medical staff, and noted that international institutions are also responsible for their negligence in protecting hospitals and health facilities, which should have immunity.
The statement called for "the provision of fuel to all hospitals so that they can fulfill their medical and humanitarian duties."
WHAT HAD HAPPENED?
Health sources in Gaza had stated that the Israeli army demanded the evacuation of Al-Shifa Hospital, where patients, the wounded, displaced persons, and medical staff were located.
The Israeli army had forcibly expelled all displaced Palestinians and most of the patients from Al-Shifa Hospital in the Gaza Strip, which it has kept under attack and blockade.
Muhammad Abu Silmiya, the director of Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza, stated in an interview with an AA reporter that the evacuation process of the hospital had begun after the one-hour deadline given by the Israeli army for patients, the wounded, displaced persons, and medical staff to leave the hospital expired.
Abu Silmiya had stated that they were in contact with United Nations (UN) officials regarding the patients and 30 premature babies remaining in the hospital, which the Israeli army had evacuated.
