Gender regulation to be implemented on US passports

According to a report by the American news platform The Intercept, based on a written directive Rubio sent within the agency, the US Department of State is making changes to passports.
Taking action following the presidential decree signed by US President Donald Trump, which states that "according to America's official policy, there are only two genders, female and male," the department will reorganize passports in accordance with this decree.
According to Rubio's current directive, the Department of State is removing the "X" option, which has been available on passports until now, in addition to the "female" and "male" options.
According to the information in the report, Rubio included the statement, "It is the official policy of the United States that gender is immutable," in his relevant directive.
In his inaugural address, the 47th President of the United States, Donald Trump, stated, "From now on, it is the official policy of the United States government that there are only two genders, male and female."
After taking office, Trump signed a decree stating that "only two genders, male and female," would be recognized in the country.
