The resemblance between German Chancellor Scholz and US Senator Chris Coons, who looks almost like his twin, has also made its way to social media.
Chris Coons and Olaf Scholz shared a selfie they took together after their meetings in Washington on their social media accounts.
Coons asked his followers the question “Wer ist wer?”, which means “Who is who?” in German.
"IT WAS NICE TO SEE MY TWIN AGAIN"
Quoting Coons' message on his X account, Scholz said, “It was nice to see my visual twin again.”
The two politicians, both in their 60s, are also the same height: 1.70 m.
Among their shared political stances is their advocacy for providing more military support to Ukraine.
Scholz met with US senators yesterday to bring this message to the US Congress.
