Germany summons Russian Ambassador to Berlin to Foreign Ministry
The German Foreign Ministry has reacted to Russia's intimidation tactics—which involved sharing the addresses of German companies providing drone support to Ukraine—by summoning Russia's Ambassador to Berlin, Sergey Nechayev, to the Foreign Ministry, stating, "Germany will not be intimidated by such threats. Any form of espionage activity in Germany is absolutely unacceptable."

Tensions between Germany and Russia have flared once again. The German Foreign Ministry has reacted sharply to Russia's intimidation tactics last week, which involved sharing the public addresses of German companies that produce and provide support for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to Ukraine.
In a statement issued by the German Foreign Ministry, it was noted that Russia's Ambassador to Berlin, Sergey Nechayev, was summoned to the Foreign Ministry and informed that these threats are unacceptable.
The Ministry stated, "Russia's direct threats against targets in Germany are an attempt to weaken our support for Ukraine and test our solidarity. Our response to this is clear. We will not allow them to intimidate us. Such threats are unacceptable, and all espionage activities in Germany are unacceptable."
Tensions between Germany and Russia remain high
High tensions between Germany and Russia have not subsided in recent years, both due to Berlin's support for Ukraine and espionage activities conducted on behalf of Moscow. Recently, due to allegations of cyberattacks and espionage targeting critical infrastructure and air traffic control systems in Germany, Germany has frequently summoned Russia's Ambassador to Berlin to the Foreign Ministry to express its reaction and warn that there will be consequences.
