'Ghost gun' operation in Greece
In an operation carried out in the Evros region of Greece, 2 people suspected of smuggling weapons to criminal organizations linked to Turkey were detained, and 25 pistols without serial numbers, known as "ghost guns," were seized.

In an operation conducted by the Northern Greece Organized Crime Division, 25 pistols hidden in a suitcase and numerous magazines were found during a search of a vehicle stopped in the Evros region.
It was determined that the seized weapons lacked manufacturer information and serial numbers. During the operation, mobile phones and SIM cards were also confiscated for examination. Two people were detained as part of the investigation. It was determined that the second suspect was the person organizing the delivery of the weapons.
International connections under investigation
Greek authorities stated that they believe the seized weapons were planned to be sent to organized crime groups with links to Turkey, and announced that the incident's connections to an international arms smuggling network are being investigated.
On the other hand, officials stated that it is extremely difficult to track such weapons.
