Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis proposes solution to the Palestinian issue
Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis stated that Israel must take the situation in Gaza seriously and allow humanitarian aid to enter the region.

Responding to questions from the Greek press following the European Union (EU) Leaders' Summit held in Brussels, Mitsotakis shared his assessments regarding the Israel-Palestine conflict.
Stating that Europe supports Israel's right to self-defense as long as it remains within the framework of international law and human rights, Mitsotakis said, "The reference to a humanitarian pause in the fighting is a message that Israel must take the situation currently prevailing in Gaza seriously and allow the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza." he stated.
MITSOTAKIS EXPRESSES CONCERN OVER ISRAEL-PALESTINE CONFLICT
Pointing out that Gaza's basic needs such as food, water, and medicine must be met, Mitsotakis expressed his concern over the potential expansion of the Israel-Palestine conflict.
Mitsotakis said, "The solution to the Palestinian issue must be based on a two-state philosophy."
When asked how President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's refusal to define Hamas as a "terrorist organization" would affect Turkish-Greek relations, Mitsotakis replied, "I do not think that having different views on this matter should affect the Turkish-Greek dialogue and the significant steps taken in recent months."
