Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan made assessments regarding the agenda during a live broadcast he attended.

Regarding a question about the attacks carried out by the US against Iran-backed groups, Fidan emphasized that the US is "playing with fire," stating, "When you play with fire, that fire can turn into a conflagration at any moment. It may not be able to be brought under control. We are facing a risk here. This issue of being unable to be brought under control stands before us as a threat."

Expressing that Turkey is in constant contact with regional partners and the US, Fidan said, "We must avoid regional escalation. The situation is not good. We may face a larger escalation."

"ISRAEL IS NOT SEEKING SECURITY"

Fidan underlined that the issue of Israel's security is constantly brought to the agenda in the world public opinion. Stating that Israel will feel safe when it stops lying to the world public, Fidan said, "Israel is not seeking security. Israel is seeking more land. The day it gives Palestinians their own state, Israel will already be safe."

Reminding that they have repeatedly conveyed that they are ready to take responsibility as countries of the region, Fidan said, "When we brought the two-state solution to the agenda, this time, differently, this was what lay behind our proposing the guarantor mechanism methodologically."
