Hamas Spokesperson Abu Obeida made a statement on his social media account regarding Israel's recent attacks.

Ubeyde stated, "We had previously stated that we had lost contact with our fighters guarding the captives and that we believed some captives had been killed in Zionist attacks. After investigations conducted in recent weeks, it has been confirmed by us that some of our fighters were martyred and 7 captives were also killed."

Stating that three of the captives were Haim Gershon Peri, Yoram Itak Metzger, and Amiram Israel Cooper, Ubeyde said that the names of the other four would be announced later.

Ubeyde stated that the number of hostages who have died due to the Israeli army's attacks in the Gaza Strip has exceeded 70, adding, "We have tried to protect the lives of the hostages from the very beginning, but the enemy is deliberately killing the hostages to get rid of the hostage issue."
