Hamas announces: The time for the prisoner exchange to begin has been set

A statement has come from Hamas regarding the prisoner exchange agreement reached between Israel and Hamas. Hamas announced that the agreement will go into effect tomorrow at 10:00 AM.

Israel and Hamas have reached a prisoner exchange agreement mediated by Qatar and Egypt.

The Tel Aviv administration announced its acceptance of the prisoner exchange agreement in a written statement following a cabinet meeting led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that lasted approximately 6 hours last night.

Following Israel's announcement that it had accepted the prisoner exchange agreement, a statement also came from Hamas. Hamas announced that under the agreement reached with Israel, there will be a 4-day humanitarian pause in the fighting, and in exchange for the 50 Israeli hostages to be released during this period, 150 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails will be released.
