Palestinian sources stated that excavation work is being carried out in many areas, including Khan Yunis, and also reported that Red Cross teams have arrived in the region to monitor the process.
In a statement made by Hamas, it was noted that the lack of necessary equipment for the excavation work and Israel's refusal to send specialized teams to support the efforts are hindering the operations.
Hamas declared that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government are responsible for the failure to provide these resources and for the slowing down of the process.
