Hamas stated that the US administration is responsible for the ongoing massacres against Palestinians in the genocide that Israel has been carrying out in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.
Hamas issued a written statement regarding the attack carried out by Israel on the Mufti School, where displaced Palestinians were sheltering in the Nuseirat Refugee Camp in the central Gaza Strip, which claimed at least 22 lives.
The statement included the following: "The Zionist enemy would not have dared to continue its heinous massacres in the Gaza Strip and expand them to the region if the US administration did not cover up its crimes and if there were no international silence."
The statement, which called on the international community and the United Nations to "assume their legal and moral responsibilities and take urgent action to stop the ongoing attacks," emphasized that "the Israeli administration must be held accountable for the crimes and violations it has committed against the Palestinian people and the peoples of the region."
In the statement, the attack on the Mufti School was evaluated as "a continuation of Israel's fascist policy based on deliberately targeting civilians in shelters and its brutal genocide against the Palestinian people."
It was reported that at least 22 people, including 15 women and children, lost their lives and 80 people were injured in the attack carried out by the Israeli army yesterday on the Mufti School in the Nuseirat Refugee Camp in the central Gaza Strip, where thousands of displaced Palestinians were sheltering.
