Hamas leader states that a humanitarian ceasefire has not yet been reached
An advisor to Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh stated that a humanitarian ceasefire with Israel has not yet been reached, refuting statements made by the US on the matter.

Haniyeh's Press Advisor Taher al-Nunu responded on his Telegram account to the White House's statement that Israel had "agreed to humanitarian pauses in the fighting."

Noting that negotiations are ongoing but that no agreement has been reached with Israel so far, al-Nunu stated, "If an agreement is reached, it will be clearly announced to our people."
White House National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby had announced to reporters that Israel had agreed to pause attacks for 4 hours a day to allow for the exit of civilians located in the north of the blockaded Gaza Strip.
