Hamas official Hamdan: "The US is responsible for the massacres in the Gaza Strip"

Hamdan stated that the US administration is responsible for all the massacres Israel carries out daily in the Gaza Strip, especially after giving Israel the green light.

Hamas official Hamdan said, "Our message to the US administration: We say to US President Joe Biden and his administration, you must stop dreaming of governing Gaza after the attack. The resistance and our people will be victorious. Learn from your previous lessons in the Middle East and elsewhere."

Stating that the world and the American public have begun to see the "repeated claims that a humanitarian ceasefire cannot be achieved despite Israel's insistence" as a form of deception and delay intended to give Israel an additional opportunity to commit more massacres, Hamdan pointed out that what needs to be done today is to "work for the immediate cessation of attacks on the Palestinian people."

Addressing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Hamdan said, "Foreigners (captives) will be released; as we have said, they are guests, but field and security conditions must be met to ensure their safety. As for your soldiers, you know what the price of this is."

Regarding Israel's claims that Hamas has "built tunnels and command centers under hospitals in the Gaza Strip," Hamdan reiterated his call for the United Nations, the World Health Organization, and the International Committee of the Red Cross to send delegations to all hospitals in Gaza to verify that no Hamas leaders are present in the hospitals.

"CLEAN DRINKING WATER CANNOT BE PROVIDED"

Hamas official Basem Naim also warned about the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza during the press conference, saying, "In blockaded Gaza, more than 90 percent of the population does not have clean drinking water. Palestinians are consuming dirty or salty water."

Naim stated that the Palestinian people, who consume dirty water or are forced to use seawater, have become vulnerable to diseases and epidemics.

Expressing that the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) and its administrators, who bow to the dictates of the occupying forces, are responsible for the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, especially in the northern region, Naim stated that UNRWA, which is obligated to protect more than 70 percent of Gaza, has abandoned its responsibility toward hundreds of thousands of refugees, leaving them deprived of basic needs such as water, food, medicine, and shelter.

Naim described this stance by UNRWA as complicity with the "occupying forces," noting that this institution is responsible for the legal, humanitarian, and moral consequences of what is happening before the world and history.

Addressing the United Nations (UN) and the international community, Naim said, "It is shameful to allow the water of an entire population to be cut off and for water to be used as a tool of blackmail to force people to leave their homes."

Naim explained that Israel is deliberately bombing bakeries and implementing a policy of starvation against the public in the region, especially in the cities of Gaza and Northern Gaza.

Stating that all bakeries in these regions have been bombed and that solar panels on houses and bakeries have been targeted, Naim reported that 900,000 people in northern Gaza are facing a humanitarian catastrophe and the risk of famine.

Addressing the international community, Naim stated that one should not bow to Israel's impositions, which are contrary to international law and conventions, and said:

"We appeal to the civilized world. How much longer will you remain silent about the crime of collective punishment that the Zionist enemy is inflicting on an entire people? Is this not a crime against humanity? Urgent practical steps must be taken to break the blockade imposed on the public, especially in the northern regions of Gaza."

Addressing the Islamic and Arab world, Naim lamented, "How much longer will humanitarian aid pile up in front of the Rafah Border Crossing, waiting for approval from the occupying forces? When will your will prevail over the will of the occupation?"

"COLLECTIVE AND CLEAR DECISIONS MUST BE TAKEN"

Naim also called for "collective, clear decisions" to be taken at the Arab League and Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) summits planned for the weekend in Saudi Arabia, which would force Israel to open border crossings and allow the entry of humanitarian and medical aid as well as fuel.

Saudi Arabia is preparing to host two extraordinary summits where developments regarding the Gaza Strip under Israeli attacks will be discussed.

The Arab League had announced that requests had been received from Saudi Arabia and Palestine to discuss Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip. The Extraordinary Arab Summit hosted by Saudi Arabia will be held on Saturday, November 11.

The OIC also announced that Islamic countries would gather at an extraordinary summit in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, on Sunday, November 12, to discuss Israel's attacks on the Palestinian people.

Hamas had announced today that an Israeli colonel, an expert in "urban warfare" serving in the special forces unit called "Shaldag," was killed in the clashes in blockaded Gaza.

The Israeli army had also announced that one more of its soldiers was killed and four soldiers were seriously wounded in ground clashes in the Gaza Strip, which it has been bombarding incessantly while tightening the blockade.
