In a press conference, Hamdan made remarks regarding a second prisoner exchange with Israel and a full ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
Emphasizing that there is no final agreement with Israel on a ceasefire and prisoner exchange as of yet, Hamdan said they have received some proposals and suggestions, that Hamas is working on them, and that they will make a decision while keeping the interests of the Palestinian people in mind.
"WE ARE FOCUSING ON AN AGREEMENT"
Stating that Hamas has received the general framework draft regarding a potential agreement from the meeting in Paris, Hamdan said, "We are focusing on an agreement based on Israel stopping all its attacks on the Gaza Strip and withdrawing all occupying forces from the Gaza Strip."
Noting that they are reviewing the draft agreement, Hamdan said regarding the efforts, "It also includes the lifting of the 17-year blockade on our people in Gaza, reconstruction, and a serious prisoner exchange agreement."
