In a written statement issued by Hamas, it was noted that a delegation led by the movement's Shura Council Chairman, Mohammed Darwish, met with MİT head Kalın.

During the meeting, topics discussed included "the attacks in the Gaza Strip, the starvation of civilians, the obstruction of the entry of water and food supplies, the destruction and demolition of homes, buildings, and infrastructure, and the attempts to displace Palestinians from their lands."

The Hamas delegation stated that it is ready for a comprehensive prisoner exchange agreement in return for "Israel stopping its attacks on the Gaza Strip, withdrawing from the region, ending the blockade, and the immediate implementation of Egypt's proposal to establish an independent committee composed of national and technocratic figures for the administration of the Gaza Strip."

Furthermore, the meeting also addressed Israel's violations in the West Bank, particularly in occupied East Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, as well as the systematic displacement policies implemented in refugee camps in the northern part of the region.
