While the return of bodies continues as part of the prisoner exchange within the scope of the ceasefire agreement reached between Israel and Hamas, Israel has accused Hamas of failing to fulfill the terms of the agreement regarding the handover of the hostages' bodies.
Following Israel's allegations, Hamas issued a statement emphasizing their commitment to the ceasefire agreement, saying, "We have handed over all the living hostages in our possession and the bodies we were able to reach. Special equipment is required to locate and recover the remaining bodies. We are making great efforts to do this."
In a previous statement, Hamas announced that it would hand over the bodies of 2 more Israeli hostages in the evening hours.
The Israeli military announced that Red Cross teams have set out to receive the bodies of 2 more Israeli hostages from Hamas.
Under the agreement, Hamas has handed over 8 bodies to Israel to date. Israel claimed yesterday that one of the bodies delivered did not belong to the hostages.
