Haniyeh emphasizes 'war' to Israel

Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh made statements regarding the struggle against Israel in Gaza, the blows dealt to the enemy, the consequences of this, and the decisions taken at the United Nations (UN) and the Joint Extraordinary Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)-Arab League.

EMPHASIS ON STRUGGLE

Expressing that the resistance forces have displayed an unprecedented example of courage and heroism in Gaza and have dealt painful blows to the enemy army, Haniyeh described the resistance fighters in Gaza as soldiers of God and stated that God would fulfill His promise through these individuals.

Haniyeh emphasized that in addition to Gaza, Palestinians in the West Bank are also struggling against the raids, attacks, detentions, and land confiscations by Israeli forces and Jewish settlers.

''IF ISRAEL WANTS A LONG-TERM WAR, WE ARE READY''

Stating that the Palestinian resistance is fighting to protect Palestine and the sanctities of the Ummah, Haniyeh said, "The resistance is engaged in a strategic struggle with Israel and will emerge from it only with victory. If Israel wants this war to be long-term, our breath will be longer than theirs. The resistance will be the party that has the final say in this war, and the world will see that the Al-Qassam Brigades and the resistance forces will defeat the occupier in Gaza, just as they did 18 years ago."

Haniyeh noted that "in the attacks that have been ongoing for 41 days, the Palestinian people and the heroic resistance forces have thwarted Israel's plans for displacement or the release of prisoners."

''GAZA HAS OPENED THE DOOR TO STRATEGIC TRANSFORMATIONS''

Stating that Hamas has taken root in Palestinian lands and that Israel and its allies cannot change this reality in Gaza, Haniyeh said, "No matter how many targets the enemy sets or how high they raise the bar, all of these will be demolished. The only party with a say in determining the future of Gaza and Palestine is the Palestinian people."

Haniyeh noted the following:

"Gaza has set an example unseen in the Islamic world for 100 years. Despite the blockade and hardships, Gaza has opened the door to strategic transformations and written history. It has dealt a major blow to the foundations of the Zionist project."

CALL TO THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY

In his speech, Haniyeh also touched upon the (OIC)-Arab League Joint Extraordinary Summit held in Riyadh on November 11 and called for the implementation of decisions taken at this summit, such as "the cessation of conflicts, the entry of aid into Gaza, the protection of holy sites, and the recognition of the Palestinian people's right to independence and return."

Referring to the UN Security Council's resolution yesterday demanding an "urgent and extended pause" in the fighting in Gaza, Haniyeh said that pressure must be applied on Israel to stop the attacks, open border crossings, lift the blockade permanently, and recognize the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.

Haniyeh noted that the Al-Aqsa Flood is the war of the entire Islamic world and that the resistance in Gaza must be supported from all directions for the liberation of Palestinian lands.
