In an attack by Israel on the Al-Shati Refugee Camp in the west of the Gaza Strip, 10 people, including the sister of Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh, lost their lives.
According to information received from eyewitnesses, aircraft belonging to the Israeli army carried out an airstrike on a house belonging to Haniyeh's family in the Shati Refugee Camp. The house was completely destroyed in the attack, and at least 10 family members lost their lives, with others injured.
Sources at the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City also reported that Haniyeh's sister, Zahr Abdulsalam Haniyeh, was among those who died.

Haniyeh's 3 sons and 4 grandchildren lost their lives in that attack.
