Hezbollah stated in an announcement regarding the matter that the movement's drone (UAV) chief, Ali Hussein Burji, has lost his life.

The Times of Israel newspaper had previously reported that the vehicle carrying Hezbollah commander Burji was targeted in the town of Khirbet Selm. The report included claims that Burji was Hezbollah's drone chief in southern Lebanon.
The Israeli military had conducted an airstrike today near the area where the funeral of Wissam al-Tawil, a high-ranking Hezbollah field commander killed yesterday in southern Lebanon, was set to take place.
In addition, the Israeli military targeted a moving vehicle in southern Lebanon with a drone this morning, killing 3 Hezbollah members.
