Hezbollah announces it targeted an Israeli fighter jet with a missile

The Hezbollah movement reported that a surface-to-air missile was fired at an Israeli fighter jet violating Lebanese airspace, forcing the aircraft to turn back.

Hezbollah issued a statement regarding the attack carried out against an Israeli aircraft.

The statement noted that "a surface-to-air missile was fired at an enemy Israeli fighter jet that violated Lebanese airspace at midnight."

It was recorded that the aircraft was forced to return without completing its mission.

In a similar statement on June 6, Hezbollah had announced that a fighter jet was targeted using the same type of missile.

In another statement, Hezbollah announced that 2 of its members were killed in an airstrike carried out by the Israeli army in eastern Lebanon.

The statement recorded that Hezbollah members named Bilal Alladdin and Abbas Muhammed Nasir lost their lives.
