Hezbollah responds to Israeli Defense Minister regarding 'Naim Qassem'

Hassan Fadlallah, a senior Hezbollah official, stated that the Israeli Defense Minister's social media post, which appeared to threaten the group's new leader Naim Qassem with assassination, would not deter them.

Following the killing of Hassan Nasrallah in Lebanon, Naim Qassem has become the new Secretary-General of Hezbollah. 

After Hezbollah announced its new secretary-general, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant shared a post on his X account stating, "Temporary appointment. Not for long," in what was interpreted as an assassination threat. 

Hezbollah has responded to Israel's remarks regarding Naim Qassem. 

According to the Reuters news agency, senior Hezbollah official Hassan Fadlallah stated that Gallant's words would not deter Hezbollah from its resistance.
