Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi made a statement by quoting a social media post from the US Central Command (CENTCOM) claiming that High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS) provide offensive capability against Iran.
Araghchi stated, "Thanks CENTCOM for admitting that you are using our neighbors' territory to deploy HIMARS systems against our people, and apparently including an area where a desalination plant is located."
Araghchi further added, "If our powerful missiles destroy these systems wherever they may be as part of a retaliation, no one should complain."
In the post shared on CENTCOM's social media account, it was stated, "US Army High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS) provide unique deep strike capability in combat against the Iranian regime."
