Houthis: "We hit a British ship in the Gulf of Aden"

The Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen announced that they hit the British ship LYCAVITOS in the Gulf of Aden, located in the south of the country.
Houthi Military Spokesperson Yahya Saree stated in a written statement that they hit the British ship LYCAVITOS, which was in the Gulf of Aden in southern Yemen, with an "appropriate naval missile."
Expressing that the attack was carried out in support of the Palestinian people, Saree noted that they are in the process of taking further measures to respond to US and British attacks on Yemen and to support the Palestinian people. While no information was provided regarding the results of the attack, there has been no statement from the UK yet.
On the other hand, the Houthis announced that US and British forces carried out a second attack today on the city of Hodeidah in western Yemen. According to reports from the Houthi-affiliated Al-Masirah television, the US and the UK carried out two attacks on the Al-Jabbana area, which is part of the Red Sea port city of Hodeidah. While no information was provided regarding the results of the attack, no statement has yet come from the US or the UK. Earlier in the day, Al-Masirah television had reported that the US and the UK carried out an attack on the Beit al-Faqih area of Hodeidah.

The Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen began seizing commercial ships they claimed were linked to Israeli companies off the coast of Yemen on October 31, 2023, and launching attacks with unmanned aerial vehicles and missiles against some of them, citing Israel's attacks in Gaza as the reason.
US forces have announced several times during this process that they have shot down missiles and kamikaze drones launched from Yemen.
