How did the world respond to Hamas's operation against Israel?

The repercussions of the attacks launched by Hamas from the occupied Gaza Strip yesterday morning continue.

• Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated, "We are at war and we will win. Our enemies will pay a price they have never known," while Hamas, which is also supported by Hezbollah, announced that they would continue the attacks.

Israel responded to Hamas's "Al-Aqsa Flood" operation with "Operation Iron Swords." According to the latest information, at least 22 people have lost their lives and 545 people have been injured in the clashes in Israel. Horovitz also alleged that Hamas directly targeted Israeli civilians.

JERUSALEM POST: "THE LARGEST ATTACK SEEN TO DATE"

• In an analysis published in the right-wing Israeli newspaper Jerusalem Post, it was stated, "A strike of this magnitude has not been seen since Hamas took control of the Gaza Strip." In the article titled "The major war launched against Israel without provocation" written by Seth J. Frantzman, it was noted that in previous conflicts, the course of events was determined by Israel, but that Hamas wanted to seize the advantage with these attacks.

EGYPT CALLS FOR RESTRAINT WHILE MEDVEDEV BLAMES THE US

• According to Interfax, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov initiated talks with the parties and called for restraint to reduce tension. On the other hand, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev held the US responsible for the clashes, stating, "The clashes between Hamas and Israel on the 50th anniversary of the Yom Kippur War are a predictable development. Washington and its allies should be busy with this. The conflict between Israel and Palestine has been going on for decades and the US is a key player in this conflict."
