Hundreds protest against Iran in London

Hundreds of people held a protest in Whitehall, in the city center of London, the capital of the United Kingdom, to draw attention to human rights violations in Iran.

Gathering near the address where the Prime Minister's office is located, the protesters called for support for their "struggle" in Iran. Participants in the protest carried photographs of individuals who lost their lives in Iran and displayed various banners, issuing a call to the international community.

In addition to banners featuring photographs of Reza Pahlavi, the exiled son of the deposed Iranian Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the protesters also carried Iranian flags with the sun and lion motif used before the 1979 revolution in Iran.

During the demonstration, the protesters frequently chanted "Freedom" slogans. Despite the cold weather, many people from different age groups participated in the protest, where demonstrators also sent messages of solidarity with various social movements in Iran.

British police took security measures around Whitehall throughout the protest. It was noted that no incidents occurred during the demonstration.
