'I have 4 days left to live,' she had said: Key figure in the Epstein case, Virginia Giuffre, has died by suicide!

It has been announced that Virginia Giuffre, who came to the fore with sexual abuse allegations against Prince Andrew of the British Royal Family and US billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, has died by suicide.

The 41-year-old Giuffre was known for courageously sharing the traumatic events she experienced at a young age with the public. She had previously made serious accusations against Jeffrey Epstein, who died while in custody in the US, and Ghislaine Maxwell, who had been by his side for many years. Giuffre had alleged that the two individuals had "taken her to various parts of the world" and that she was forced to be with certain men, including Prince Andrew, during this process. Andrew had categorically denied these allegations.

“ACCORDING TO INITIAL DETERMINATIONS, HER DEATH IS NOT SUSPICIOUS”

According to a report sourced from the BBC, a statement made by Giuffre's inner circle emphasized that Virginia was “an indomitable warrior in the fight against sexual abuse.” Her loved ones stated that the traumas she experienced had become unbearable, saying, “After being a victim of sexual abuse and sex trafficking throughout her life, she has died by suicide.” 

Describing the mother of three as “a light that lifted many survivors,” her loved ones provided the information that Giuffre passed away on Friday at her farm in Western Australia. 

In an official statement from the Western Australia Police, it was noted that they arrived at the scene following a report from a house in the Neergabby area on Friday night, and that Giuffre was found unresponsive. Police officials stated that the investigation into the incident is ongoing but that “according to initial determinations, her death is not suspicious.”

SHE HAD DRAWN ATTENTION BY SAYING “I HAVE 4 DAYS LEFT TO LIVE”

Giuffre had recently announced on her Instagram account that her health had seriously deteriorated. Stating that she was hospitalized after a traffic accident, Giuffre had explained that she was suffering from kidney failure and that doctors had told her she only had four days left to live.

US-born Giuffre was living with her husband Robert and their children in the North Perth area of Western Australia. However, according to some reports in the press, the couple's 22-year marriage had recently ended.

After voicing her sexual abuse allegations, Virginia Giuffre did not settle for just seeking personal justice but also began conducting awareness campaigns against sexual crimes. According to her claims, she was forced into sexual intercourse with Prince Andrew by Epstein and Maxwell when she was only 17 years old.

These accusations, which shook public opinion at the time, had put Prince Andrew in a very difficult position. However, the Prince reached an out-of-court settlement with Giuffre in 2022. In a statement released with this agreement, Andrew expressed that he “regretted his association with Epstein,” but he neither apologized nor accepted any legal liability.

Epstein, for whom Giuffre made a name for herself, was found dead in a US prison in 2019. According to official records, he ended his own life by suicide. On the other hand, Ghislaine Maxwell, who was seen as one of his accomplices, was tried for sexual crimes and sentenced to 20 years in prison.
