IAEA Director General Grossi: We believe there is 60 percent enriched uranium in Isfahan

International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi made a statement in Paris, France, regarding Iran's uranium stockpile.

Grossi stated that they estimate about half of Iran's stockpile of 60 percent enriched uranium, which is very close to nuclear weapons grade, is stored in an underground facility in Isfahan.

Grossi said, "We believe there is a little over 200 kilograms of 60 percent enriched uranium in Isfahan. The prevailing view is that this stockpile is still there."

The US and Israel had targeted the nuclear facility in Isfahan during the 12-Day War in June of last year. It was announced that the facility did not sustain serious damage in the attack.
