Identity of driver of Tesla that exploded in front of Trump's hotel identified
The identity of the person who died in the Tesla vehicle that exploded in front of the hotel owned by President-elect Donald Trump in Las Vegas, USA, has been determined. Officials providing information to US media announced that the person in the vehicle was Matthew Alan Livelsberger from the US Army.

It was stated that 37-year-old Colorado-born Livelsberger joined the US Army in January 2006 as a special forces communications specialist and was a soldier stationed at a US military base in Germany.
It was noted that as of November 2024, Livelsberger's job description in the army was listed as a remote and autonomous systems manager, and that he was on leave in Colorado on the day of the explosion.
Meanwhile, it was determined that the Tesla Cybertruck-type vehicle that exploded in front of the Trump hotel in Las Vegas was rented from a company called Turo, which facilitates car sharing via the internet, from Colorado.
THE EXPLOSION IN FRONT OF THE HOTEL
On the first day of the new year, around 8:15 a.m. local time, a Tesla-branded vehicle exploded and caught fire in front of the Trump hotel in Las Vegas; the person in the vehicle lost their life, and 7 people in the vicinity were slightly injured.
Las Vegas police had announced that fireworks as well as filled picnic gas canisters were found in the trunk of the vehicle.
US President Joe Biden also stated in a statement yesterday evening that the FBI is investigating whether there is a connection between the vehicle attack in New Orleans, where 15 people lost their lives, and the Tesla explosion in Las Vegas, but that no conclusion has been reached to be announced yet.
