According to a statement from the organization, IHH, which has been conducting humanitarian aid work in Lebanon for many years, began emergency relief efforts following the start of the occupying Israel's attacks.
On the first day of the foundation's efforts, support was delivered to those in need in the Beirut, Sidon, and Chouf regions.
As part of the initiative, food parcels and hygiene kits were distributed to 100 families sheltering in a school in Beirut. Subsequently, hot meals were served to 450 people in Sidon. In Chouf, blankets and mattresses were distributed to 150 people.
Additionally, kitchen installation work is ongoing in the Iqlim al-Kharroub region. Once the kitchen, which is planned to be completed within a few days, begins operations, it will be able to provide meals to 4 thousand people regularly every day.
The foundation's aid efforts in Lebanon are continuing.
