Iran: 11 ships that did not comply with instructions blacklisted

With this decision, the number of commercial ships banned by Tehran from passing through the Strait of Hormuz has risen to 56.

As diplomatic and military tensions between the US and Iran continue, the Tehran administration has taken a new decision regarding international maritime activities in the Strait of Hormuz.
The Persian Gulf Strait Authority, affiliated with the Iranian administration, announced that it has blacklisted 11 commercial ships on the grounds that they did not comply with the instructions set for passage through the Strait of Hormuz.
The decision comes after Tehran blacklisted 45 tankers for the same reason last week.
Thus, the number of commercial ships that Iran has banned from passing through the Strait of Hormuz has risen to 56.
The PGSA also warned that other ships cooperating with the blacklisted vessels would also be included on the list.
It was stated that for the ships under the ban to be removed from the list, they must submit a formal application by providing valid justifications.
