Iran: A comprehensive attack on Lebanon would trigger a devastating war

Iran's Permanent Mission to the United Nations issued a statement on its X social media account.

According to NTV's report, the statement characterized the Zionist regime's declarations regarding an attack on Lebanon as "psychological warfare." The statement warned that if Israel launches a comprehensive military attack on Lebanon, a "devastating war" would begin, adding that "all options, including the full participation of all resistance fronts, are on the table."

Iran had previously sent messages through its UN Permanent Mission during the period of heightened tensions between Iran and Israel in April.

In a message shared on April 14, it was noted that Iran was exercising its right to self-defense in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter, and it was reported that Iran's military response was "in response to the Zionist regime's aggression against our diplomatic missions in Damascus."

The message stated, "The matter can be considered concluded. However, should the Israeli regime make another mistake, Iran's response will be considerably more severe."
