TARGETED BY UAVS

US military bases in Hasakah and Deir ez-Zor have been frequently targeted since the beginning of the year by rockets and kamikaze unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of unknown origin.

The territory of Deir ez-Zor east of the Euphrates River is under the occupation of the US-backed terrorist organization PKK/YPG, while the city center and other rural areas are under the control of the Bashar al-Assad regime and Iran-backed groups.
