Iran declares 'Strait of Hormuz will not return to its former state': 'Whatever we decide will happen'

Ibrahim Zulfiqari, spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), drew attention to the course of the war and the balance of power in the region in a statement regarding developments in the Strait of Hormuz.

Zulfiqari stated that Iran's military power is increasing day by day, saying, "The more you try to avoid the prolongation of the war, the more the resistance of our nation and the power of our armed forces increase with every passing moment.

The course of the war will force you to accept the truth, and in the end, you will be forced to negotiate of your own volition. It appears that your politicians have also become unable to make accurate assessments," he said.

Pointing to new regulations regarding the Strait of Hormuz, Zulfiqari said, "The situation in the Strait of Hormuz will not return to its former state. Whatever we decide will happen.

We have redefined the rules for passage in a decisive manner. The rule is clear: No passage will be permitted for you or anyone associated with you.

The authority to grant passage permission is entirely ours. The law of passage has been clearly established.

You are in a state of paralysis, and the signs of this are becoming more evident every day. It is not just your bases that you are losing, but the very order you established yourselves," he stated.
