As he did in the first round of the election, Khamenei called on voters to head to the polls. Speaking to the press after casting his vote, Khamenei said, "I have heard that the public's interest in the elections is greater than before (the first round). If so, that is gratifying." In his statement, Khamenei added, "Tomorrow we will see our new president. God willing, our people will vote and choose the best one."
