Iran grants Pakistan permission for Strait of Hormuz passage
Pakistan's Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar stated on his social media account that Iran has granted permission for 20 more Pakistani-flagged ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, with two ships to transit the strait daily.

In a statement on the X social media platform, Dar said, "I am pleased to announce that the Iranian government has agreed to allow 20 more Pakistani-flagged ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, and that 2 ships will pass through the strait per day."
Emphasizing that they welcome this step and that it is a "constructive gesture" made by Iran, Dar assessed, "This is a harbinger of peace and will help ensure stability in the region."
Dar shared the view that, "Dialogue, diplomacy, and such confidence-building measures are the only way forward."
Pakistan's Foreign Minister Dar tagged US Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, and US President Donald Trump's Special Envoy Steve Witkoff in his post.
