Iran's 'counter-attack' statement to Israel! 'We are extremely determined and serious'
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei, in his statement regarding Israel's retaliatory attack on Iran's military bases, said, "The Islamic Republic of Iran will absolutely not waive its right to respond to Israel. This is Iran's legitimate right to self-defense, and regardless of these message exchanges, we are extremely determined and serious about exercising our right to respond. We will use all the means at our disposal in our response to Israel."

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei evaluated Israel's retaliatory attack on Iran's military bases during his weekly press conference.
Baghaei stated, "The Zionist Israeli regime made a miscalculation and launched an attack on Iran. Our armed forces successfully responded to the attack."
Stating that they are working to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon, Baghaei said, "As the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we have focused all our attention on achieving a permanent ceasefire in Lebanon and Gaza. All our efforts are aimed at forcing the Israeli regime to respond. The fact that the Israeli regime is not held accountable for the crimes it commits makes the regime even more arrogant. As Iran, we support any step that will result in a permanent ceasefire. However, in the latest ceasefire talks held in Doha, we see that the parties are not serious about a ceasefire."
"RESPONDING TO ISRAEL IS IRAN'S LEGITIMATE RIGHT TO SELF-DEFENSE"
Stating that diplomacy can be an effective way to prevent a regional war in the face of Israeli aggression, Baghaei said that the reactions from regional countries to Israel's attack on Iran were significant. Baghaei said, "In our meetings with regional countries, we had stated that all countries should closely monitor developments in the region and inform each other of any unusual activity. On the other hand, our armed forces were closely monitoring all military movements of the Zionist Israeli regime."
Noting that Iran will definitely respond to the Israeli attack, Baghaei said, "Message exchanges continue in the field of diplomacy. The Islamic Republic of Iran will absolutely not waive its right to respond to Israel. This is Iran's legitimate right to self-defense, and regardless of these message exchanges, we are extremely determined and serious about exercising our right to respond. We will use all the means at our disposal in our response to Israel."
"OUR INITIATIVE WITH TURKEY CONTINUES"
Evaluating Israel's use of Iraqi airspace in the attack on Iran, Baghaei said, "Regional countries promised that they would not allow the use of their airspace in an attack on Iran. We believe that no neighboring country has allowed its territory to be used in an attack on Iran. The Iraqi government will follow up on the matter by taking the misuse of its territory to the United Nations."
Stating that an arms embargo should be imposed on Israel, Baghaei noted that they are following the process together with Turkey and said, "Our initiative with Turkey to impose an embargo on the Zionist regime's weapons continues, and we hope that more countries will join this campaign."
